AC Hotel Jacksonville St Johns Town Center

What a great experience. This was my first stay at this hotel and I was welcomed warmly at reception with a seamless check-in and check-out. The room was modern and very clean, with two complimentary bottles of water. The bed was extremely comfortable and allowed for a great night’s rest. The food and service during the conference were particularly good, and overall the customer care and service were excellent. It's close to all the amenities, and plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance.I would happily stay here again.

The room was nice but it lacked a microwave despite the huge fridge. The shower is huge and the products provided are nice. The bar was great but the hours aren’t consistent. The bartender was great tho! He stayed open a little longer for us and a couple other people so we super appreciated him. The receptionist(Kaitlyn, I think she said) was AWESOME! She was quick with check in when we told her we were running late and gave us honest recommendations on nearby drinking spots before our night out. We will definitely stay here again because it’s so convenient to the best town center spots.

Having stayed at another hotel nearby in March at a similar price point, the AC Hotel felt noticeably superior, even though I thought the previous property was quite good at the time. For a brand that isn’t considered a premium Marriott offering, I was genuinely impressed. The room was minimalist but very well appointed, with a clean, modern feel. The location is within easy walking distance of much of the dining and shopping at St. Johns Town Center, though we chose to drive since it was a bit chilly during our stay. Given that it was New Year’s Eve, I expected the hotel to be busier, but the quiet, relaxed atmosphere was actually a pleasant surprise. The staff was kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, even though we didn’t need or request anything special. I had looked into accommodations before arriving but didn’t make an advance reservation, opting to stop here first to assess the property. It took all of about 60 seconds for us to make our decision, and I’d comfortably pay up to the low $200s per night before looking into alternative accommodations, given the time of year and occupancy. Additional observations: The TV system was a bit quirky and cycled through a Marriott Bonvoy presentation, but I was unable to access streaming services or live TV during our stay. We didn’t raise this issue with staff, so it may have been easily resolved. The mattress was slightly firmer than my personal preference, though that’s obviously subjective. The ice machine on the third floor was a bit slow; given the model and cube size, that’s understandable, but it could become an issue on a busier night. Internet speeds on the hotel’s basic Wi-Fi measured approximately 17 Mbps download and 19 Mbps upload, which was adequate for general use. Parking was plentiful and convenient.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to help with anything I needed. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I could ask for. The amenities were excellent — the pool and fitness center were clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety with fresh, tasty options. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see, yet quiet enough to truly relax. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality of the team. It made my stay feel personal and stress-free. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for the events that we were in town to attend. The staff was so friendly. They all spoke whenever we were leaving or returning. The room was clean & comfortable. However, a microwave is needed. The mattress was a little too soft & the reviews about the thin walls & floors are true. We were grateful that it wasn't too bad. Oh, and the shopping was great!

I recently stayed here for a work trip and had such a great experience from check-in to check-out! The lobby was all decked out with pumpkins decorated by the staff, and guests got to vote for their favorite—it was such a cute and fun idea. I still want to know who won! Kaitlyn at the front desk was amazing and went out of her way to take care of us. She brought extra towels and coffee/tea up to our room and helped with a late checkout. Big thanks to Kaitlyn and all the wonderful staff for making my stay so enjoyable!

We stayed her on our way home from Orlando. Rooms were clean. Location was close to restaurants. I recommend going to Maggiano’s little Italy. Then after we left my kid realized that she had left her glasses. Jackie was awesome with ensuring my kid received her glasses. We will return
